The author subjects the prophetic events of the Bible to a data analysis procedure designed to sort the events into their given relationships such as being before or after other events, co-occurring events, and being the first or last events of their type without the influence of preconceived theories. He then follows different story lines through the resulting data to report the meaning of the resulting pattern of events.

Once events are put into their proper relationships, the actual content of each event is reapplied. The following story lines are then followed through and reported:
